Southern Title was fantastic to work with during our recent closing. Katie Terrio was our initial point of contact. She was so pleasant and very helpful throughout the entire process. We used an out of state bank for our mortgage and they were very particular in their requirement. Also, they could not adequately answer questions that I had about some line items on the settlement statement. Heather Noga, the Branch Manager, interceded on our behalf, to explain to the bank’s closing team how property taxes are calculated in our county. She also took the time to explain everything to me to make me comfortable that I would not be over-taxed at closing. Our process went very smoothly after that, as Katie and Heather carried the burden of complying with the bank’s unique and tedious requirements. Our account executive, Dawn Aquino, guided us through the closing appointment. She was also very pleasant and helpful. She explained every document in detail before we signed to our understanding. Her assistance saved us quite a bit of time, as the bank’s signature requirements were rather unclear. The whole process took 45 minutes. What a relief to work with such a great group of people who weren’t just professional but actually cared about us, the buyers.
