It has been ten years since Southern Title opened its first office in Daytona Beach, Florida. Now the company is celebrating its first decade of doing business by opening its 16th branch office - this time in St. Augustine.
The new office, located at 2790 US1 South officially opened on February 21. An open house is being planned for April.
The new office is managed by Sharon Chambers a licensed title agent with years of experience handling real estate transactions in St. Johns County. She is joined by Lynda Godfree, who will be handling administrative duties, and Rebecca DeLorenzo, who is spearheading the marketing effort for the new branch office.
The staff at Southern Title in St. Augustine has extensive experience handling residential and commercial real estate transactions, refinancings, investments, tax-deferred exchanges, construction loans and for sale by owner transactions. Over the past few years, the company has hastened its search time, improved the accuracy of closing documents and laid the groundwork to deliver a “paperless” closing. The company recently launched SureClose@Southern Title, the online transaction management system that gives all parties to the transaction the opportunity to view its progress online. A few simple clicks will allow buyers, sellers, mortgage professionals and real estate agents the opportunity to view the survey, see when the search has been completed, check up on pest inspections and ask questions of the Southern Title professional handling the file. The web-based system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so questions can be answered even when the office is closed.
